Air Fryer Chicken and Potatoes Recipe
The most delicious and effortless weeknight meal is this Air Fryer chicken and potatoes! This chicken supper is ready in less than 30 minutes and only needs a few basic ingredients to produce incredible flavors!
Even though the Air Fryer may be a relatively new product on the market, a lot of us own and regularly use one. During hectic days, I consider my Air Fryer to be a time and effort saver because it works well for air-frying frozen items without using any oil. Additionally, it’s ideal for easy meals like air fryer roasted potatoes, quick baked potatoes, or roasted cauliflower.
This device is fantastic for preparing dinner, despite your initial assumption that it’s only for heating frozen or basic meals. It produces the healthiest, crispy fish fillets, chicken tenders, and, quite honestly, the finest chicken fajitas!
The inspiration for this recipe came from realizing that I could absolutely create an entire meal in the Air Fryer while creating these dishes. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the interior roasted potatoes paired with succulent, moist chicken chunks that are expertly seasoned. Sounds ideal, doesn’t it?

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken and Potatoes
Instructions
Step 1: Set the Air Fryer’s temperature to 375°F, or 190°C.
Step 2: Combine the potatoes, half of the seasonings and oil (smoked paprika, red chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and olive oil), and one clove of garlic in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: After adding the potatoes to the Air Fryer basket, cook for ten minutes, rotating them halfway through.
Step 4: In the meantime, thoroughly coat the chicken with a mixture of the remaining ingredients (garlic, smoked paprika, red chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and olive oil) in the same bowl along with the thyme.
Step 5: After 10 minutes of cooking, take the basket out of the Air Fryer and use a spatula to transfer the potatoes to one side. After ten minutes, turn the chicken over and continue cooking it on the other side.
Step 6: Once the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), it is considered cooked. Take out of the basket of the Air Fryer. Alternately, cook it till the temperature is safe.
Step 7: Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
